The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken a major step in their marriage by adding a new member in the Royal family, and no, it is not a baby.
According to Daily Mail, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently adopted a Labrador to the Royal family, who is currently staying at the Nottingham Cottage with them.
“The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage. Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds,” a source told the daily.
Apparently, the dog that the couple has adopted, is also a rescue dog just like Meghan’s first pet Guy, who lives with the Royals.
Meghan’s love for animals is not new. She is known for helping rescue puppies and is also against harming animals.
And before getting married to Harry, she used to have two pets – a Labrador-Shepherd mix called Bogart and a beagle called Guy.
While Bogart couldn’t accompany Meghan to her new home after marriage, Guy was flown over last November.
The details of Meghan and Harry’s Labrador are yet to be released by Kensington Palace, but one thing is quite clear – the former Suits star shares her love of animals with her new husband.
